What is PressReader?

PressReader offers access to more than 6,000 newspapers and magazines from over 120 countries in 60 languages, and even includes the Hawaii Tribune Herald and West Hawaii Today. All you need is your Hawaii State Public Library System library card!

How do I use PressReader?

  1. Click on PressReader
  2. Click on Sign in at top right corner of the page
  3. Click on Library Card
  4. Select Library : Hawaii State Public Library System
  5. Type in your library card number and pin
  6. Click on Sign in

PressReader Account

PressReader is a robust news platform that offers the ability to create customized collections, alerts based on topics of interest, and to comment and share thoughts with others about content. To take advantage of all of the features, you can create a PressReader account after you click on Sign in. Click on New User and sign up with your email address and create a password.

PressReader App

Before installing the PressReader app, you’ll need to create an account and password.  From the PressReader homepage, click on Sign In and then New User. Sign up with your email address and create a password.  The app is available for Apple, Android, Kindle Fire. Once you’ve installed the app, sign in with your PressReader account information.

How do I know what publications are available?

After you login, simply click on the  in the top left corner, and then click on publications.
