Welcome to the Aina Haina Public Library! Designed by architect Edward Aotani, our library opened on Oct. 18, 1962. A senior services librarian was added in 2008 to meet the needs of an aging community. In 2011, our library became the first public library on Oʻahu to install a photovoltaic solar system.
The Hawai’i Fiction Writers invite you to join them for an enriching discussion with G.T. London, author of the contemporary romance Second Chances and Then Some. She will discuss her writing and publishing process, and provide a sneak peek of Eight Weeks Later, her next novel, which is set in Hawai’i.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
