Hope to see you there!

This is lesson #3 in a 4-week series of free ukulele lessons.

Lokelani Pila, a Wai‘anae resident will be our instructor. She has decades of experience singing Hawaiian hula songs and local island songs played on the ukulele. Since a very young age, her passion was to play the ukulele with her hula halau in Hanapepe, Kauai. Since 2018, she has taught a beginners ukulele class at Ko’olina Beach Villas. Lokelani Pila is inspired to share the joy of playing the ukulele in a four-week series here at the Wai‘anae Public Library on Saturdays. These lessons are for ages 8 to 88!

Bring your ukulele with you. If you need one, you can checkout one from any public library with your library card. Call the library (808-697-7868) with your questions or to save your seat.
