Presenting the second ever Aiea Library Mini Comic Con!  Come in your favorite costume, and get a glimpse of what a convention is like, with informative talks, vendors, and activities!  Artist Devin Oishi will give you tips on how to build characters out of shapes from 11 am to noon.  Then cosplayer BijinRyu will give a talk about getting started in cosplay from noon to 1 pm.  Last, but not least, cartoonist Jon J. Murakami will show you how to build your own comic strip from 1 to 2 pm. Vendors will be Jon J. Murakami, Devin Oishi, Oahu Charms, Khampart, Kawaii Mono, and Lime Media.  A portion of the proceeds from any purchases from the vendors will go to the Friends of Aiea Library.  All payments must be by cash or check.  Comic Jam Hawaii will have a keiki drawing area where keiki of all ages can draw.  Cosplay is encouraged!
