June 30, 2017 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

God's eye craft

IN CELEBRATION OF THE 2017 SUMMER READING PROGRAM!

Use your creativity with yarn to make a God’s Eye. Also known as the Ojo de Dios and found in Mexican and Mexican American communities, a God’s Eye is made by weaving a design out of yarn. Some believe that the God’s Eye is a magical object, and in some cultures, is believed to have the power to see and understand things that may be unknown.

This program is suitable for ages six and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Sponsored by F.O.L.K.

Contact the library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
