Know Your Legal Rights: Senior Legal Issues / Guide to Public Benefits

Russ Awakuni and Robert Topenio, of the Legal Aid Society of Hawai‘i, will provide information on common legal matters relating to senior citizens. Russ & Robert will also provide some information on public benefits. This 45-minute program is suitable for ages 18 and older.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS: Russ Awakuni is a veteran attorney with over 24 years of law experience. He serves as the managing attorney of Legal Aid’s Country Justice™ branches (rural Oahu), and is also the Secretary to the Hawaii State Bar Association (HSBA) Board. Robert Topenio works at the Leeward branch of Legal Aid as an AmeriCorp Advocate helping residents of the west side of Oahu with their legal needs.
