Know Your Rights: Tenant Rights and Responsibilities with Sophia Henager

As part of the “Know Your Legal Rights” series, Sophia Henager, AmeriCorps Paralegal in the Asset Protection Unit at the Legal Aid Society of Hawai`i, will focus on the basic rights and responsibilities of tenants in Hawaii. Subject areas include: searching and applying for an apartment, leases, security deposits, repairs, the eviction court process, and moving out. The presentation will take place in the library’s first floor reading room. Questions and answers will follow her presentation.
