La’au Lapa’au

La’au lapa’au is the Hawaiian practice of using plants and herbs to treat ailments. Ku’u Samson will introduce us to this practice and share some of the plants used.  Ku’u Samson, born and raised in Waianae began her career at MA’O organic farm and now can be found at Hoa ‘Aina o Makaha. she is a Hawaiian Studies graduate student at UH Manoa.
