In commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Kailua-Kona Public Library invites the public to a free screening of the movie Under the Blood Red Sun in the Adult Reading Room.  Locally-produced, directed, and based on actual events in Hawaiʻi in 1941, the movie is an adaption of the award-winning book by Graham Salisbury.  It’s an unforgettable story of friendship, courage, and survival.

This film is suitable for audiences ages 8 and up.

Program schedule is subject to change or cancellation without notice.  Contact the library at least 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if other special accommodation is needed.
