Storyteller Dave Del Rocco

IN CELEBRATION OF THE 2017 SUMMER READING PROGRAM!

Storyteller Dave Del Rocco will share folktales from around the globe, including Laos, Hawaii, Italy, Africa, the Philippines, and more. Dave is a former Children’s Librarian with the Hawaii State Public Library System and has translated several children’s books into Hawaiian for the Dept. of Education’s immersion program. This 45-minute program is suitable for all ages. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i, Hawaii State Federal Credit Union, Meadow Gold Dairies, Hawaiian Electric Companies, HMS Host, Hansen Distribution Group, Roberts Hawaii, Mitsunaga & Associates, Aloha United Way, and the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation. This is a production of the University of Hawaii at Manoa Outreach College’s Statewide Cultural Extension Program with additional funding and support provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the University of Hawaii.
