Hands holding a tablet device with HSPLS icons

Learn how to borrow library e-books, magazines, and more without having to worry about late fines. Bring a smartphone or tablet device to the Reference Desk. Select one HSPLS app you’re interested in, then meet one-on-one with a librarian for quick instruction. Library staff has experience working with iOS and Android devices.

Six HSPLS apps are available: Hawaiʻi Mobile (virtual library card), Kindle (e-books), Mango Languages (language learning system), OneClick Digital (audiobooks), OverDrive (e-books & audiobooks), and Zinio for Libraries (magazines).

This is a library card required service. An Internet connection is also necessary for downloading digital content. Free Wi-Fi is available for use at the library. Last day of instruction is May 30, 2017.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 10 days for Oahu in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
