March 12, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

"The TaleBlazers' Library" with a balloon or pin on a book with a map in the back

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to write your own story? Then come join us for an innovative Sunday Family Storytime! Guest storyteller Miss Des’s creative storytime will inspire keiki to become characters in their own books.

Join us as we listen to adventuresome stories, participate in an imaginative activity, then create and share our very own digital stories!

Optional: Patrons may also choose to participate as part of a graduate research project regarding the positive effects of creative writing and digital storytelling on equal representation for children and youth. Parental and student consent required to participate in research project. Portable devices are encouraged but not required. For details, questions, or concerns please contact Des Dannenbring at dann9311@hawaii.edu

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
