IN CELEBRATION OF THE 2017 SUMMER READING PROGRAM

Join the magical adventures of stories! Magician & storyteller Yasu Ishida will share stories from all over the world told in Kamishibai (“Paper-Theatre”) style, incorporating magic tricks and various paper art forms, including Origami and Pop-Up Arts. Kamishibai is a storytelling style, which became popular in Japan during the 1920s. This 45-minute program is suitable for preschoolers and lower elementary students. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.
