Back by popular demand-computer literacy classes for seniors! Wai'anae Public Library is offering free computer literacy classes.  These classes, taught by Lucy Gay, Associate Professor Leeward Community College, are designed as a series of six classes beginning April 21—May 26, 2017.  Subjects to be covered are: basic computer, email, Microsoft Word and the Internet. Oahu Historical Tsunami Photo and Information Collection Project

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the City & County Department of Emergency Management will hold a listening/sharing session in the meeting room at the  Liliha Public Library in order to collect the personal recollections, stories, and photos that people may have from any tsunami experience here in Hawaii.  These "talk story" opportunities will happen on a one-on-one basis, and the NOAA and City & County DEM team will provide a scanner and laptop to facilitate the information collection.  More details about…
