The Library would like to invite you to join us for storytime fun. We host storytime every Friday for keiki ages 2-5 and their caregivers. The program includes stories, songs, and crafts. Storytime has many benefits, such as helping brain development by increasing knowledge, vocabulary, imagination, and concentration. Join us for a fun and interactive storytime in the Edna Allyn Room for Children. This program is suitable for ages 3 and older. Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Keiki Storytime followed by Block Building Play Time

Dates: Wednesdays, June 7, June 14, June 21, June 28, July 5, July 12 Features stories, songs, rhymes and movement for children ages 0-4, but all keiki are welcome! Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver. A half-hour storytime is followed by a half-hour block building play time. Help your keiki learn social, motor and cognitive skills. This program will run for six weeks during the summer. Keiki Storytime is every Wednesday in the children’s area.

Summer Reading Program June 4 - July 15, 2017

Starting June 7, kids ages 6-12 can participate in WOW Wednesdays at 1:00p.m. On Wednesday June 7 and 14 children will make a fairy or gnome house from a recycled book, as well as a wooden fairy or gnome doll. On June 21 children will take part in designing, building, and testing an outdoor pool noodle obstacle course.
