A bunch of children's books

Picture books bring a child's world alive through pictures with wonderful illustrations and story lines. Throughout November, we celebrate picture books with a special find the author game. Children can read picture books of their choice by 18 talented writers and log them on a book log. After finding and reading the books, participants turn the logs in for special prizes. Children in grades 1-5 will have the opportunity to read to registered therapy dogs and/or dogs in training from Assistance Dogs of Hawaii.
