If the item you are interested in is not available at your library you can request a hold on the title(s) in one of three ways with a valid library card: 1. Request the item online and use the dropdown arrow feature in the search menu until “Video Title Browse” is selected, then enter the item’s title. Follow the rest of the on-screen instructions to place your request. If you have any questions about this process call any public library that is open and we will be happy to assist you.  2. Request the item in person at the Reference Desk of any public library.  3. Call any open public library [most libraries will do up to three (3) requests per call].

Viewing Tip:

Your DVD player may not automatically show the subtitles on foreign language DVDs. If this is the case, look at your player’s remote and see if there is a “Subtitle” button and press it while the DVD is running. The subtitles should appear with English as the default language. Also on the main menu of the DVD there should be the option of “Languages” or “Setup”. Choose this option, then indicate which language you would like used in viewing your disc. If neither of these suggestions work please refer to the owner’s manual that came with your player for additional instructions.
