Holualoa Public Library (Big Island) will be closed temporarily effective Wednesday, July 1, 2009. The book drop will remain open to accept returned library materials. Starting July 1, Holualoa Public Library patrons can use Kailua-Kona Public Library, located about five miles away at 75-138 Hualalai Road. Library materials being held for patrons will be available for pick up at Kailua-Kona Public Library. Registrants of Holualoa Public Library's Summer Reading Program can continue to participate at Kailua-Kona Public Library until July 18. Library patrons with questions can call Kailua-Kona Public Library at 327-4327 or the HSPLS Public Libraries Branch on Oahu at 808-453-6166.
