Hanapepe Public Library and the book drop will close beginning Monday, May 11, 2009, for parking lot expansion and other site improvement projects. The Library, located on Kaumualii Highway on the West Side of Kauai, will be closed for approximately one month. Passport applications will not be accepted during this time.
An announcement will be made when the Library is scheduled to reopen, and the public is invited to participate in the 2009 Summer Reading Programs.
Patrons may visit other Kauai public libraries should they need library services or to return items: Waimea Public Library (338-6848), Koloa Public & School Library (742-8455), Lihue Public Library (241-3222), Kapaa Public Library (821-4422), or Princeville Public Library (826-4310).
