On Sunday Aug. 24, 2008 Kailua Public Library was the proud recipient of an "Extreme Make-over" by Scout Troop 35. Over 40 boy scouts and their parents participated in power washing, painting, digging, planting and general cleaning of the front area of this library. They also did some work in improving the Courtyard. Work began at 9 am and they finished at 4 pm. The front lanai was power washed and painted.  We are grateful for their support!
