Liliha Public Library has closed for renovations and is scheduled to reopen on January 12, 2009.  Renovation work will include the installation of a new circulation desk and reference desk (ADA compliant), and the light fixtures will be fitted with new energy-efficient lighting. While this library is closed, the book drop will remain open. Customers may visit the nearest libraries - Hawaii State Library or Kalihi-Palama Public Library - to fulfill their library services needs. In addition, customers may use the HSPLS website to browse the catalog for book titles, eBooks, digital audio books, EBSCOhost (features a wide variety of online databases), which provides full text materials from magazines, newspapers, journals and other publications.
