Learn how to grow and prepare wild table plants

Certified Master Gardener Ed Fenzl will present an introductory course on Wild Table Plants for home gardeners and small farmers at Kealakekua Public Library on Oct. 15 at 11 a.m.

Learn about 18 edible wild table (foraged food) plants that are easy to grow. This adult program will explore Native Hawaiian, indigenous, and introduced plants from the mainland that will spice-up your palate and bring new meaning to the phrase “farm to table.”
