“Jean Erdman: A Career Retrospective,” an exhibition honoring the Hawaii-born centenarian choreographer, dancer and thespian, is currently on display through Nov. 8 in the Hawaii State Library lobby and first floor reading room. The exhibition can be viewed when the library is open.

Presented by the Joseph Campbell Foundation, the exhibition highlights Erdman’s original works of dance and theater and many other contributions to the performing arts world.

Never-before-seen film footage and other media, personal reflections from Erdman’s students and collaborators, and masks created by notable artist and collaborator Ralph Lee will be on display. For more information, call the Edna Allyn Room for Children at 586-3510.
