Hawaii Five-O has featured our flagship Hawaii State Library (478 S. King St.) twice in the past 2 Seasons!
The library, known for its beautiful Greco-Roman style architecture, was shown in exciting scenes showcasing the interior and exterior of the building.
Now in Season 7, the popular re-imagined police drama highlights Hawaii’s beautiful scenery, beaches, local people, and unique architecture.
You can borrow DVDs of the new Hawaii Five-0 and the classic Five-0 (Jack Lord) from your local public library. It’s a great deal: borrow a whole season’s DVD set for $1.00 with a 7-day loan!
A CD entitled Hawaii Five-0: Original Songs from the Television Series can be borrowed for 21 days. It includes the Hawaii Five-0 Main Title Theme and Book’em Danno, the popular catch phrase composed into a musical suite.
In state observance of Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole Day, most public libraries will be closed on Monday, March 27, 2023. Oahu libraries that are normally open on Sundays will be closed to observe the holiday on March 26th and be open on Monday, March 27th. Libraries that are normally closed on Mondays will observe the holiday and be closed on Tuesday, March 28th.
