Do you often forget when your library books are due? If you receive library information through email notifications, you should now receive a Pre-Overdue Email Notice that is sent 5 days before the due date of your checked out materials. This will enable you to renew your items online or return them before they are due. This means you can avoid fines!

If you’re not receiving Pre-Overdue emails, check if your email address is correct. To correct your email address, go to and click “My Account” to change it. If your email address is correct but you’re not getting Pre-Overdue Email Notices, please check your SPAM or JUNK mail folders. If you still are not receiving after changing and checking SPAM or JUNK mail, please contact your local library branch for assistance.

To sign up for Email Notices and the new Pre-Overdue Email Notices service, click “Receive email notifications.” If you need assistance, please ask staff or call your local library.

In state observance of Thanksgiving, all public libraries will be closed on Thursday, November 24th.
