Oahu Public Libraries will host Honolulu Theatre for Youth’s “Shhhhh”

Two actors in Honolulu Theatre for Youth's Shhhhh productionThe Honolulu Theatre for Youth will present “Shhhhh,” a free 30-minute show for preschoolers, at six Oahu public libraries.

“Shhhhh” teaches children about the importance of listening to others as well as listening to themselves. It also explores how children can find their own voice and gain the courage to speak up, as well as learn to enjoy silence.

The library performances are funded by a community benefit grant from Kaiser Permanente. No reservations are required, but children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.
