The 2020 Nēnē Award winner is …

The Nēnē Award is Hawaii’s Children’s Choice book award. Each Spring, Hawaii’s fourth through sixth grade students vote for the best book they have read from a list of 30 nominees compiled by a group of public and school librarians. This year we have two winners: a fiction chapter book and a graphic novel.

2020 Award Winners are:

  • Fiction: The Wild Robot by Peter Brown
  • Graphic Novel: Cardboard Kingdom by Chad Sell
