Beginning Monday, October 5th, the Hawaii State Public Library System (HSPLS) will resume Computer Time access at all library branches statewide, except for Kahului, Liliha and McCully-Moiliili, which are closed for renovation and repair work. Computer Time is also not available at the Hawaii State Library as staff continue to support unemployment processes to support our community.
Re-opening access to our public computers is part of HSPLS’ phased reopening of library services in concert with the local and State’s phased in reopening of services amid the on-going COVID-19 threat.
How does computer time work?
*If you live on Kauai, please contact your favorite library to find out more about their computer time offerings.
Health and Safety
For the health and safety of all, everyone is required to wear a face covering which covers their nose and mouth at all times. All equipment and high-touch areas will be cleaned after each computer session is completed.
Buildings Not Fully Opened
Although our buildings remain closed for other services, our public libraries (except for Kahului, Liliha and McCully-Moiliili) will continue to offer Library Take Out services.
Please stay tuned as the Hawaii State Public Library System continues to work on phasing in more services based on local, state and national requirements and protocols.
