Are You Ready for Hurricane Season?

The Hawaii State Public Library System is partnering with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to provide free year-round webinars for all ages.

On a recent virtual program, NOAA meteorologist Leigh Anne Eaton discussed the science of hurricanes, how and where they are forecast, the hazards associated with them, and how to stay prepared. She also shared the 2021 Central Pacific Hurricane Season outlook, explaining what we might expect this year.
