Read To Me logoThis year’s Read To Me Conference “Reading from the Heart, E heluhelu mai ka naʻau: Celebrating Our Cultures and Voices” is everything you could hope for in a children’s literacy conference.

Whether you are an early childhood educator, an elementary school teacher, a librarian, a parent, a caregiver, a children’s program manager, or just someone who is interested in sharing the love and joy of reading aloud, this conference is for you! Discover the unexpected magic that awaits a child through books and read-alouds! This is a free virtual conference Thursday, June 8 from 8:00 AM-1:30 PM on Zoom.

DOE Teachers

DOE teachers wanting to receive non PDE3 credit hours, please register for this conference on PDE3 (pde3.k12.hi.us). Registration closes on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. You must register and attend the conference in its entirety to receive credit. Attendance reports from Zoom will be generated to confirm that non PDE3 registrants attended the conference in its entirety.

Early Childhood Professionals

Early childhood professionals seeking Annual Health and Safety training credit hours, Read To Me International Foundation will email certificates AFTER the conference and upon completion of the survey.

In state observance of the King Kamehameha Day holiday, most public libraries will be closed on Monday, June 12, 2023. Oahu libraries that are normally open on Sundays will obverse the holiday on Sunday, June 11 and be open on June 12.
