The 2025 Summer Reading Challenge wraps up on July 31st, but it’s not too late to join the fun! Be sure to keep reading and logging your books or minutes on Beanstack. Every completed book or minute you log brings you closer to exciting rewards and a chance to win fantastic prizes!
Want to boost your chances of winning prizes? Head to your local library for the “Word of the Week” activity! It’s a fun way to learn a new Hawaiian word and earn an extra entry in the drawings.
Haven’t signed up yet? No worries—it’s never too late to get started! Whether you’re reading alone, as a family, or with friends, you can still join the challenge and start logging your progress. Invite your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to join as well! The more people who participate, the closer we get to our goal of 25,000 readers. Help us reach this exciting milestone!
Even though the challenge is ending soon, libraries across the state will continue hosting fun events throughout the summer. Check out the full list of events happening near you on the HSPLS Events Calendar.
Let’s finish the Summer Reading Challenge strong—keep reading, keep logging, and let’s make this summer a reading success!
