Welcome to the Pearl City Public Library! One of the largest libraries on Oʻahu, our library opened on Nov. 15, 1969 as Pearl City Regional Library. We are one of three Oahu libraries open on Sundays and located next to the Pearl City Police Station.
Caregivers and their babies (0-23 mo.) are invited to the library to socialize, play and read in the Juvenile Room. Please bring a towel or blanket for younger babies to lay on. A collection of toys will be available. Meet caregivers and other babies in your area. Start the habit of reading and visiting the library early. Siblings are welcome to attend.

Join us for Tai Chi – a form of martial arts and low impact exercise for Older Adults 50+, every 4th Wednesday.
Medical clearance by a physician is recommended. Wear comfortable clothing and covered-toe shoes. Bring bottled water or water in reusable drinkware.
About the instructor: Ron Ishimaru is certified by the Tai Chi for Health Institute. He teaches Sun style Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention, an evidenced-based exercise program endorsed by the CDC and the Hawaii Department of Health EMS and Injury Prevention System Branch.

How good are you at puzzles?
There is a theme tying together all of the books on the mystery display tables (tablecloths). The theme can be identified by studying the front covers of the books but has nothing to do with their actual content. Enter your best guess and maybe you will win the weekly prize.
This program is suitable for babies 0-23 months and their caregivers. Learn ways to interact with your little one to promote brain growth, bonding and fun! This short 20-minute program is filled with interactive rhymes, short read-alouds and songs. Stick around for free-play and meet other caregivers in the community. Learn a brief history of lei-making and giving to understand the strong cultural connection a lei has within Hawaiian culture. Students will learn the basics of lei making and have the opportunity to gift the lei to someone special to them, along with thank you note.
