About

Welcome to the Waipahu Public Library! Library services in Waipahu began as early as 1952 with a library on Farrington Highway. Our current library opened at a new facility located next to the Waipahu Civic Center on Mar. 18, 1996. Designed by Mitsunaga and Associates, our library features Oahu’s only drive-thru window and exclusive reading room for teens.

The Library’s drive-thru window conveniently allows patrons to pick up holds and return books. The entrance to the drive-thru window is located on Mokuola Street.

Library patrons must use the Pay Station for parking. Meters have been disabled and will be removed. Free parking is allowed on Saturdays.
