Studies have shown that reading with your little one provides a great opportunity for bonding. The goal is to have read 1,000 books before your precious one starts kindergarten.

Come to our launch party and sign up for our 1,000 Books before Kindergarten reading challenge, play games, and try your hand at different crafts.

This reading program, funded by the Friends of the Library Kapolei, is suitable for babies through pre-Kindergarten keiki.

All programs are subject to change. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aide or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
