Ray Bradbury’s 1950s now-classic dystopian novel imagines a world of fully suppressed individual ideas, creativity, and freedom of speech. The main character’s job is to burn books, a job he relishes until he is shown a new perspective, and realizes, among other things, that the apathy among screen-pacified masses is part of the problem.​
