Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Lānaʻi Public & School Library! Light refreshments with I Love Lānaʻi Tacos will be served, along with cupcakes by Rochelle’s Cakery. Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center staff are leading mini watercolor paintings that can be added to our 25 year time capsule. We invite everyone to  add something to our time capsule that will be sealed at the end of this year and re-opened at the libraryʻs 75th Anniversary celebration. There is also a photobooth, games, and awesome entertainment with Uncle Saul Kahihikolo,Uncle Dale Kapua, and the band The Left Footed. This event is for all ages, and is sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Hawai’i, the Maui Friends of the Library, the Friends of the Lānaʻi Library, Pine Isle Market, Pūlama Lānaʻi, and Richardʻs Market.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. Program schedule is subject to change.
