5th Annual Leilehua High School Art Exhibit at Wahiawa Library

September 14, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Art Image

The fifth annual Leilehua High School Student Artist Recognition Reception to be held here at the library on Thursday, September 14 at 6:00 p.m.

This year the art exhibition and reception feature artwork from local students, who have created remarkable pieces in the categories of drawing, photography, and sculpture. Many of the students have won national awards for their art, and this exhibition and reception is meant to recognize and commend them for their talent.  The keynote speaker will be Leeward Community College lecturer and Leilehua High School alum Michael Harada.

The art reception is part of the Library’s new Pride of Place event series. The purpose of this series is to instill a sense of pride and inspiration in the Wahiawa community. Please join us not only to be inspired by the great art pieces but also to experience pride in the talent Wahiawa’s youth has to offer.

Program is subject to change. Please contact the library 10 days (15 days for neighbor islands) in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
