A Bookish Chat With YA Author Kelly Murashige

Book Cover: The Lost Souls of Benzaiten

Come talk about reading, writing, and publishing with local Young Adult author Kelly Murashige at the library where she first fell in love with books. A lifelong McCully-Mōʿiliʿili Library patron, Kelly writes contemporary fiction with fantastical twists rooted in Japanese mythology and culture. Her debut YA novel, The Lost Souls of Benzaiten, comes out with Soho Teen on July 23, 2024. This program is recommended for teens ages 13 and older and adults who love YA books.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible.
