Meet a Literary Icon

Join us for an exclusive look at the art of poetry. United States Poet Laureate Arthur Sze will open this special workshop focused on translation and his collection, Transient Worlds. Discover how poetry moves between cultures through a classic poem by Tao Qian (365–427 CE). No second language required.

• 10:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. – Active Workshop: Limited to 15 registered participants for hands-on activities.
• 11:45 a.m. – Book Signing: Join us for an exclusive book signing with Arthur Sze and get your copy of his newest book signed!

This workshop and signing will take place in the First Floor Reading Room at the Hawai‘i State Library.
