A Splash of Wild Waters: Stories and Songs About Our Wet World

Celebrate Oceans of Possibilities, our Summer Reading Challenge!

Join storyteller “Aunty Nyla” Fujii-Babb for participatory stories and songs about the many forms of water and the creatures that live in a watery habitat. This 45-minute program is suitable for preschoolers. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

“Aunty Nyla” is a retired librarian and UH-Mānoa graduate school instructor. She has appeared in various local theatre productions and performed in several mainland storytelling festivals.

This is a production of the University of Hawai‘i Outreach College’s Statewide Cultural Extension Program. Additional funding and support is provided by the Tom F. Carpenter Memorial Fund, National Endowment for the Arts, Hawai‘i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the Friends of the ‘Aiea Library.
