The Hawaii State Library presents an exhibit in honor of the new sculpture, “Patsy T. Mink” by Holly Young, installed on the front lawn of the library.  The exhibit, A Woman of Her Words, focuses on Patsy Mink’s quotes which have been incorporated into the base of the sculpture.  In the exhibit, Mink’s powerful statements are placed back into the context in which she spoke them, giving the reader a sense of the circumstances and causes which shaped Mink’s political career.  The exhibit will be on display in the front lobby of the library from December 5 to 20, 2018, during regular library hours.
