This two-part beginner-friendly workshop on 8 & 15 December encourages everyone to “talk story” through art — blending imagination, humor, and Hawai‘i’s rich storytelling traditions, led by Lee Walczuk, Ohana Arts

Keiki will learn to bring inanimate objects to life using simple materials and basic frame-by-frame animation techniques.

The workshop is free and all materials will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own sketchbooks or favorite small objects to animate and if possible, a cell phone.

Space is limited. Sign-up at the library or call 962-2229. Ages 10+.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
