Celebrate the Summer Reading Challenge by attending a special story time, prize drawing, art activity, and mascot visit by the creators of “Kumusta Pusa Loves” children’s book series.
Inspired by the Filipino spirit of warmth, resilience, and joy, Kumusta Pusa loves making friends and embodies a love for heritage and a playful approach to life.  Her philosophy is simple: celebrate where you come from, stay curious, and greet every day (and everyone) with a heart full of kindness. As the main character of the “Kumusta Pusa Loves” children’s book series, her purr’pose is to inspire a sense of culture and happiness, one paw print at a time.

Storytime will start at 10:30am followed by an art activity and prize drawings. Participants will have a chance win either a book or activity booklet.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
