Author Talk with Shane Sato – Portraits and Stories of Japanese American Veterans

Location: Meeting Room (Ground level overlooking Harding Ave.)

Join author and photographer Shane Sato for an author talk and slide presentation about the coffee table book series “The Go for Broke Spirit” which features portraits and stories of Japanese American veterans who fought during World War II.

This 45-minute program is suitable for all ages.  Registration is optional.  You may RSVP online or at the Reference Desk for a reminder.  Copies of the book series will be available for sale at the conclusion of the program.  Mahalo to the Friends of Kaimuki Public Library for sponsoring and assisting with this event.
