In celebration of the 38th annual Maui Whale Festival and cetaceans everywhere, join the
renowned Banana Slug String Band for a special performance!  This award-winning band has been playing music for kids for over 30 years.  They have played in 40 states and 5 countries, for almost 2 million people.  Doug Dirt, Airy Larry, Marine Mark, and Solar Steve are environmental educators, impassioned musicians, songwriters, performers, and eco-warriors!  With guitars, voices, crazy characters, and an extraordinary ability to connect with children, they change the world, one child at a time.

Sponsored primarily by Pacific Whale Foundation with additional funding from the Kay A. Edwards Memorial Fund

Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.  Program schedule is subject to change.  Contact the library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
