Celebrate Banned Books Week by reading a banned book! Open to teens 13+ years old and all adults. Read one of 40 banned books on display at Kailua-Kona Public Library. Write a brief review of the book and be entered into a drawing for a $25 Kona Stories gift certificate or a $25 book sale gift certificate from the Friends of the Libraries, Kona (FOLK). A total of four prizes will be awarded. See library staff for entry forms. The contest is open from September 11 – October 20, 2018. Winners will be announced on October 23.
