Basic Sewing Workshop: Make a Scrunchie

Want to learn how to sew using a machine? Have you sewn before but need a refresher? Join us for this three-part sewing series.

In this first course, you’ll learn to make a scrunchie. Material is provided for the scrunchie.

What you need to bring:

  • An idea for a project (to begin in the second class on March 20)
  • Interest in making something
  • Fabric scissors

Program suitable for adults. Class size very limited. Call the library (808-323-7585) to reserve your spot and for more information. Walk-ins will not be accepted.

Supplies generously provided by Friends of the Libraries, Kona (F.O.L.K.)

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
