Be Prepared!: What to Do In Case of an Emergency

Speakers form the Kauai Emergency Management Agency (KEMA) will present recommendations for residents to prepare for all potential hazards, including hurricanes and tsunami.  KEMA staff will also advise what to do in the unlikely case of a ballistic missile attack.

KEMA staff have been trained by representatives of the United States military as well as staff from nuclear science laboratories.  They will offer a question and answer session following their presentation.

Program schedule subject to change.  Contact the library at least 5 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
