Discover the art of block printing in this hands-on workshop for teens and adults. Participants will learn the fundamentals of printmaking while creating a custom bird design.

In this session, you’ll carve or work with a prepared block, apply ink, and print your design onto paper to create multiple unique prints. Along the way, you’ll explore how to layer, experiment with color, and embrace the creative surprises that make printmaking so fun.

All materials will be provided, and no prior art experience is necessary. Whether you’re an experienced artist or just looking to try something new, this workshop offers a relaxed, creative space to learn a new skill and take home your own handmade art.

We welcome teens and adults ages 12 and up to this program sponsored by Friends of the Libraries, Kona (F.O.L.K.).

Program size is limited. RSVP is required. RSVP online for this event by selecting the RSVP function. Reservation period will close on April 13th, while availability lasts. Please call the library (808-323-7585) or visit if reservation assistance is needed.
