An event every month that begins at 5:30 pm on day First of the month, repeating indefinitely

Come join our inaugural book club meeting! We’ll be discussing James by Percival Everett. This highly acclaimed novel, a retelling of the classic The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn told through the eyes of the escaped slave Jim, has recently won both the American Book Award and Pulitzer Price for Fiction.
In the months to come our book club will be meeting the first Monday of every month from 5:30-6:30pm in our Library Program Room.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change. See a schedule of upcoming events on the HSPLS Events Calendar.
