Book cover The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty

Honokaa Library’s Book Club is back! This month’s pick is The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty.

A retired middle-aged female pirate, Amina is no longer looking for adventure or riches. She’s simply looking for a peaceful life with her family. But when she’s recruited to rescue her comrade’s daughter for a kingly sum, she can’t turn down one last chance to become a legend…

Come discuss this fun historical fantasy high-seas quest on the Indian Ocean!

All books are chosen by a vote of members of the group. Copies are available at the circulation desk of Honokaa Library.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
